Clearwave provides psychiatric care, TMS and Spravato® through experienced clinical teams across New York, giving patients access to services that may not be available within the referring practice.

Coordinated communication
We coordinate with referring providers as appropriate and can share relevant evaluation findings, treatment progress and discharge recommendations to support continuity of care.
Respect for the existing treatment relationship
For TMS and Spravato® referrals, Clearwave can provide the requested specialty treatment while the referring clinician remains the patient’s ongoing provider. We coordinate the patient’s return to ongoing care when treatment is completed.
The Process
A simple handoff, start to finish
Submit the referral
Complete the secure referral form with the patient’s contact information, requested service and relevant clinical history.
We coordinate intake
Our referral team reviews the submission and contacts the patient, generally within two business days, to explain the next step and collect any additional information.
Clinical and insurance review
The patient completes the appropriate clinical evaluation. When required, our team verifies benefits, collects supporting records and manages prior authorization.
Treatment and communication
If the patient proceeds with care, we coordinate treatment and communicate relevant updates to the referring provider as appropriate. For specialty-treatment referrals, we also help coordinate the transition back to ongoing care.
