How does telehealth work?
Prior to your appointment you will receive an appointment reminder message via email and text providing you with the unique meeting room link from clearwave.doxy.me to join and see your clinician. Do I need to reside in New York State?
For your telehealth appointment, you must be residing within New York state. Note there are some exceptions due to individual provider licensing so please give us a call if you have any questions.
Can every session be telehealth?
Depending on your prescriptions, certain appointment may be required to be seen in-person. Please give us a call with any specific questions.
Is telehealth covered by insurance?
Most telehealth sessions are covered the same as our in-person sessions where the same copays and deductibles will apply. Please contact your insurance company to verify your insurance plan benefits. We do require a credit card on file prior to the session.
What is the cost of the session?
Our telehealth sessions do not cost you any more than an in-person session.
