Overview
Sandy Glassberg, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides both in-person and telepsychiatry services.
Dr. Glassberg earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. During medical school, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). He completed his psychiatry residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. During his residency, Dr. Glassberg also completed a one-year fellowship in contemporary psychoanalysis at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Glassberg specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. He has a particular interest in veterans’ mental health, trauma-informed care, and integrative psychiatry.
In addition to medication management and psychotherapy, Dr. Glassberg offers advanced treatment options including Spravato(esketamine) therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as non-medication-based or adjunctive approaches.
