Robert Wilson, MD

Dr. Robert Wilson is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care tailored to each individual’s needs. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine before completing four years of specialized psychiatry residency training through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Northwell Health in Port Jefferson, New York.

Dr. Wilson has experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and other mood and anxiety-related concerns. He takes a collaborative, patient-centered approach focused on helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout treatment.

Dr. Wilson is committed to creating an affirming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all patients, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. His goal is to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while helping patients achieve lasting improvements in mental wellness and quality of life. He will be seeing patients at Clearwave Mental Health’s Hauppauge and Garden City locations.
