Nichole Delavega, LCSW

Nichole Delavega received a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University in 2017. She began her professional career at Hudson Valley Hospice and provided counseling to individuals and families facing complex challenges during the last stages of life. She was presented with the Heart of Hospice Award for three consecutive years and is credentialed as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker (ACHP-SW).

As a clinician in the mental health care field, she has provided treatment of various emotional and mental health disorders in adolescents, adults and veterans. Her field of expertise includes depression, anxiety, bipolar and mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD),  post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health challenges that interfere with quality of daily life. Through building a trusting and therapeutic alliance with clients, she is able to foster mutual respect and a shared commitment to achieving successful treatment outcomes.

Nichole has a person-centered approach, and therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs of every person. She uses evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques for effective mental health care treatment. Her goal is to empower every individual on their journey toward mental wellness.
