Mehreen Ahmed, DO

Mehreen Ahmed, DO is a compassionate and dedicated board-eligible psychiatrist committed to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. A proud Brooklyn native, Dr. Ahmed earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem and completed her residency training at Saint Clare’s and Saint Mary’s Hospitals in New Jersey, a program affiliated with New York Medical College.

Dr. Ahmed specializes in general adult psychiatry, with focus on treating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is particularly passionate about outpatient care, where she values the opportunity to build long-term therapeutic relationships with her patients.

During residency, Dr. Ahmed served as one of the program’s Chief Residents and played a key role in establishing its Spravato treatment program, demonstrating her commitment to advancing innovative, evidence-based care. Dr. Ahmed provides comprehensive psychiatric services, including medication management and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and is dedicated to offering personalized treatment options.
