Christine Galante, PMHNP-BC

Christine is a doctoral-prepared, dual board-certified adult and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience working in outpatient, community, and acute care settings with a diverse population, including pediatric, adult, and end-of-life patients. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care and education.

Throughout her career, she has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating a variety of mental health concerns and life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals as they navigate adolescence, the transition to college and adulthood, and other periods of significant personal and professional growth. As an experienced educator in a wide variety of settings, Christine is committed to empowering nurses and nursing students to be critical thinkers, citizens, professionals, and to envision themselves as future leaders.

Her professional interests continue to evolve around psychiatric care, nursing education, evidence-based practice, research, and integrative approaches to mental health. She is especially interested in translating complex psychiatric and health-related concepts into meaningful, practical education for patients, students, and healthcare professionals. Christine believes in the value of collaboration, lifelong learning, and education as essential components of quality healthcare. Whether caring for patients, mentoring nursing students, or continuing her own professional development, she strives to promote curiosity, critical thinking, compassion, and evidence-based practice.
