Saron Fong is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  Saron attended Excelsior College receiving a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing.  Saron attended Stony Brook University where she attained an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  Additionally, Saron attended Chamberlain University attaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice.   

Saron attained a Master of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College, graduated with high honors, and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Society.   Saron attended Stony Brook University and obtained an Advanced Graduate Certificate.  Lastly, Saron attended Chamberlain University and received a Doctor of Nurse Practice with distinction.   

Saron has over two decades of healthcare experience in various healthcare settings, including acute and chronic illness.  In 2008, Saron began her experience in psychiatry, working with acute, chronic and seriously mentally ill populations.  Saron developed a better understanding of mental illness and the detrimental impact in many communities.  From this experience, Saron decided to further advance her nursing experience by enrolling in Stony Brook University’s psychiatric nurse practitioner program.  Additionally, Saron has worked in the hospital setting and outpatient community settings with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and other related mental illnesses.  For the past six years, Saron has been practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner where she enjoys working with individuals to make a positive difference with the goal of positive outcomes in their lives, with their families, and within their communities.
